I'm always fascinated by this one as I worked in computer systems and comms. I've even built an ISP. My location is Nantes which is to be expected knowing that dear Orange is riding on the back of Wanadoo. By why does you location keep moving? Unless you are being load shifted by some cleaver service provider like BT...must investigate.

I checked just now and I guess Bikebum is on as a guest as is a sparhawk/pol "type user" (london) but there are two anonymous users in Russia!!!???

I've just discovered how to get the map (it takes me a while...) and have discovered that Ledbury is a suburb of Manchester!!

I am showing up in Port Orchard Washington, near Seattle, about 5 hours north of where I really live in a different State!! If any of you decide to come visit, you better call ahead and get better directions!

Worse...Talk Talk is now Tiscali !

Well they use Local Loop Unbundling if you are interested

http://www.ofcom.org.uk/static/archive/oftel/publications/broadband/dsl_facts/LLUbackground.htm

but that doesn't explain the movement. Some one is re routing where the loop unbundles!

I did notice that it could be strapped out differently depending on the service is being used. So you could see if you are in a differnet place when someone is watching television (assuming this is provided by Talk Talk!) or any other service you have from them.....
