Hello Everybody!!!
Hi, my name's flute, and I'm grand generation of polgara and worzel, daughter of sparhawk and Lady S.
I am a student, currently studying the three sciences, maths and further maths (more complicated) so am getting many dead heads lately: please excuse any super stupid points I say/post.
I am a keen musician playing the flute (funnily enough), although I first started playing the piccolo, as my arms were too small . I don't know if I am an 'accomplished' player, or a 'slight musician ish' as having been taught by polgara, and being part of a "highly musical" family, most comments are pretty biased.
Randomness:
I like: PINK (colour), orange, elephants, hedgehogs, FIRE, reading, maths, science, and flowers .
(I made sure the commas were in the right place, or that could have ended up interesting!!!)
But don't let me near "Jelly Tots"
As the daughter of sparhawk, I have been following daddy on his travels, and as he meets you. He has posted little about me, so I know more about you, than you of me! Mwah ha ha!
Mrs C, I am glad LMC is settling now.
Billy, I am glad your bee stings have now cleared up, and I loved the piccies of the piggies!
Thankyou Badger and LSS for setting up the forum, who knows what dad would have been up to now
And CW... Just thankyou...
I know I haven't mentioned everyone, but I have watched you all with interest...
Lots of hugs ,
flute

Re: Hello Everybody!!!
{Good job Mum and Dad didn't have the premonition you would be a Drum Kit player....or a Glokenspiel fanatic!}
Hello Flute, from France
Good to see some younger life joining in. Your generation is rather crucial but as my son says "thanks mum for screwing up the planet for us to have to sort out!" Well it was not only me but I do get his point!
ps I was reading Worzel's postings and was starting to think Sparkhawk had logged on as a second identity...the other explanation is Worzel = pere du Sparhawk! Derrrr

Re: Hello Everybody!!!
I would add Flute is a very good player, beats me & that comes from other peoiple as well.
Zoe, both Flute & the young Squire can play more than is admitted to instrumentwise.

Welcome Flute, and thank you for the detailed introduction, at last now I am beginning to understand who is related to whom here. You certainly come from an interesting family and it sounds like you are doing them justice. It is a lovely feeling, seeing you making sure that the torch will continue to be carried with gusto!

'We have a new member whose pen name is Flute,
But Mister Magnolia has only one boot'
(Am hoping sincerely you read the book when younger, or you will think I'm a bit mad)

Re: Hello Everybody!!!
Thankyou everybody for such a nice welcome!
Dandelion, I haven't read the book, but I looked it up on the web. The name is based on a book though, same as Sparhawk, and from the same author as polgara.
In Suffolk, maybe you could train some dogs. It didn't work too well when they tried it somewhere else though, but it would be quicker!
