How do you like your cheddar?
Our local farm shop has cheddar which is called 'Gob Burner'! I was tempted to ask a silly question, and find out if it was mild!

oh how I wish for Cheddar like that, I miss the seriously strong, take the roof of your mouth off cheese...
Re: How do you like your cheddar?
It made me chuckle because I was imagining a seriously suave, Nigella-type meal, where the hostess purred seductively 'Have some cheddar - it's Gob Burner'! I must buy a bit so I can report back (they do other local goodies there like Stinking Bishop)

Re: How do you like your cheddar?
Erm Stinking Bishop is made just up the road from us, so how is that local cheese in Pershore? Not even the same county, after all....

Sorry, I'm being misleading - I went to a farm in Pershore, but this was in the rare breeds farm shop in Ledbury.

Easily done...!
Dave sells all sorts of local cheese as well....I like Hereford Hop. Coated in dried hops, for those who don't know. Yum!

errm, oxymoron right there. But it's christmas day so I will not vent my spleen about Nigella. Suffice to say Iwould lock her in the same room 101 with Krusty Asslap and Delia and Jenni Murray.
Re: How do you like your cheddar?
Jenni is Ok in my book...but yes agree about the others!
