Handmade Christmas
Although I only made a few things last Christmas, I was pretty proud of them, and hope to have a 100% Homemade Life Christmas this year!
Here was what I made for Ruby from scraps in my sewing room

And I gave away a few of the blocks I make for GullyGaloo (my Facebook store)

I will slowly gather together ideas and supplies for next Christmas, it going to be wonderful!

Re: Handmade Christmas
Have you seen the Handmade Chirtsmas even on FB?
I am 'attending'. Love the idea. I made a few mini granny brag type books for out fols for christmas and they were very well received. I also made a photo frame set for my youngest brother (just turned 21) and he loved it.
So this year I have decided that christmas and birthdays are going to be mostly handmade. They don't necessarily have to be handmade by me either.
So my list so far is:
Mothers Day - pencil holder, memo pad holder and notebook all altered by me for both my mum and MIL
Scarves by me - for step mum, my mum, probabvly friends birthdays too
Jewelry sets by Dandelion Ivy - for mum, step mum and probably sister for christmas
Don't know about bros for christmas.
Big boys won't want or really need hand made things.
loving the sneaky look of some of Sams knitted things for the littlies for christmas too
Oh and my goodfriend is getting a hand made bookmark (Dandelion Ivy) and a novel for her birthday in March, bookmarks ordered!
