Record-breaking chilli is hot news
Especially for Chilli head!

Somehow don't think I want to grow one of these!

I love the fact that it's just a little less than 'weapons grade' pepper spray!!

Re: Record-breaking chilli is hot news
Thanks CW, I like the idea of munitions grade chillies
My DW has also pointed out this story to me - it looks pretty evil, doesn't it ? The hottest I have grown was a brilliant red Capsicum Chinense, the seed came out of a chilli bought from a Jamaican grocers. Judging by appearance and heat, I suspect it was possibly habanero Red Savina. I love the fruity taste of habaneros. I've since grown "peach habanero" from Plants of Distinction, which was much less hot.
These days I'm not quite as hardened as before because of a few years of child friendly meals, so I don't think I'll be growing this one either !
