Hi I'm Amy, full time mum to 3 little ones aged 61/2, 4 and 3 yrs and married. I am an avid crafter/upcycler and majority of the things I make are from recycled or reclaimed materials. I am an avid reader mainly fantasy....live in my own little world sometimes.... Embarassed

I keep a variety of different pets, mainly exotics and live somewhere NR luton but I am originally from Lincolnshire and kind of miss the rural life (a lot!!)...

Trying to be green, live a simpler life etc...Probably not trying as hard as we could but getting there! Our heart isn't really in this house so having grown veg or gotten chickens like we did before but maybe will do it all again one day!


Ermmmm.....Not sure what else to say!

I generally have to use everything to death before it gets binned, so my house is generally full of junk Shocked

But mainly I make crochet rag rugs/coasters/trivets/bowls/flowers, armwarmers/wristwarmers out of old jumper sleeves and crochet the ends and make headband/earwarmers and some other stuff too...

I am always on the hunt for material, unwanted wool, old jumpers, I will sit for ours ripping a jumper apart for it's wool, takes ages but I feel quite smug at the end of it!

I mostly crochet...but sometimes weave on a peg loom and I was given a sewing machine that keeps collecting dust but I tend to hand sew...quite crude stitching, I get away with bad sewing skills by saying it is inspired by Nightmare before Xmas Very Happy...which it is anyway!
