Flower of the day, for July
My favourite flower today is... drum roll please!
Angels' fishing rods...Dierrama pulcherrium
Mine are now flowering and they are bootiful.. piccy here, I'm out of batteries so it's nicked from the interweb.. shhh.. don't tell....

They're wonderful, you bung them in and they just get on with it...
I thought it'd be kinda helpful and fun for people to plonk down their fav flower of the day/season/hour..

Fab idea, I'm a landscape designer who doesn't really like flowers...
however, I do like some inflorescence
Especially the inflorescence of Heuchera sanguinea..
I am rather sadly addicted to Heuchras, well foliage plants in general, I think they have more to offer..

OOooooooo I like that, Badger, I love 'em, I've got a lime green one whose name escapes me.... this is going well... I'll edit the title so we can have it going monthly, that way if people need an idea for a particular month when they've got nowt flowering they can have a browse and a thunk...
