Hello from Quebec Empty Hello from Quebec

Post by Cecilia.Bee 5th March 2012, 8:25 pm

Hello everyone,

I guess this is where I come out of my hiding place and say hello to everyone. My name is Cynthia, I am a mom of two and I come from Quebec. I am very interested in cooking, knitting, starting a garden this summer on my small apartment yard. I guess I came on this board to share my interests and feel reassured that there are other people who are interested in living a simpler life and that I am not alone.

I am very excited to have found this forum, but I am still a bit intimidated by the size of the forum. So i am not antisocial, just shy Embarassed

Thank you and have a wonderful day
C.Bee

Oh and if ever I am being unclear about something or make absolutely no sense, please tell me. English is not my mother tongue.

Bien le bonjour!

I am in the process of trying to get my name changed. I hate Cynthia, unfortunately for me. So I have to wear the name I want to wear until it becomes my used name, and then the provincial government might allow me to actually change it, so Cecilia please Razz

Hallo Cynthia. Very nice to meet you.

I like knitting and cooking. My family of four are currently all knitting - although my OH is having trouble getting his second sock started! youngest daughter and I went to buy more wool this morning and eldest daughter has taken her in progress tea cosy to work with her as she anticipates a lot of hanging round today!

and I must get back to the kitchen. I've four things to make this afternoon and have only done one - but at least it is complete!

Thank you everyone for the replies. We had a big weekend planned, and now that's it's over, we can go back to our slow routine. Hope everyone had a nice weekend or is having a nice weekend.
