Knit a 20cm square and send it off, and help make a blanket for a child. There's six of us at school doing this, 4 of whom complete beginners to knitting, the other 2 being me and the teacher. Send the love Very Happy ...

I've just sent the link to my very good friend in Portland, Oregon who has cancer of the pancreas. She has taken to doing knitting while undergoing her chemo treatment, but finds it hard to concentrate on complicated patterns. Thanks, Flute. This could be just the thing.
