"Underground, Overground, Wombling Free,
The Wombles of Wimbledon Common are we.
Making good use of the things that we find,
Things that the everyday folks leave behind.

We're so incredibly, utterly devious
Making the most of everything.
Even bottles and tins.
Pick up the pieces and make them into something new,
Is what we do!"

A different one.

Soak a perspiration stained white shirt in a solution of 2 crushed asprin mixed with 100ml of warm water, soak stained part for 2-3 hours.

I have a horrible feeling I'm going to be useless on this one - I just know about headaches, fevers, and preventing heart attacks!

Mix soluble aspirin to a paste with a little water. Use externally for bumps and bruises - helps reduce swelling.

Remove egg stains from clothes.
Scrape off as much as you can, then sponge with LUKEWARM water.Mix water, cream of tarter & crushed asprin & make a paste. Spread paste on the stain & leave for 30 mins. Rinse well with warm water & the stain should be gone.

I have heard that aspirin can be used as the starting point for DIY synthesis of sodium salicylate, which is the ingredient used to make fireworks screech. I have, of course, never tried this myself and would strongly advise against it Very Happy

Ok, not a great use, but it is a bit challenging.

My pyrotechnic friend laughed, said probably & informed me about several things that I will not go into. We had a good laugh, especially when I explained what it was about Laughing
