Elephant
Still on my way to learning enough crochet to make a throw (inspired by Adrian's Willow Basket throw on another thread). Two pot holders to revise and learn some of the basic stitches. Now I've learned to increase, decrease and work a spiral on an adjustable loop. I'm not really into soft toys, but I love this little guy....

Re: Elephant
The elephant went to my mum today, as she knits a lot for charity. She gave me the yarn to practise with, when I said I was going to try some crochet again. I thought I recognised it, and she reminded me that I had given her that same yarn originally, as I had intended to start knitting something for my baby son, which never even got started. So that makes it about 31 years old!

Re: Elephant
I hope your mum likes it. He's a cute little fellow ! I only just spotted him; knitting and crochet are baffling to me. I can grasp stocking stitch and rib, but the patterns Adrian posts look like some sort of top secret code to me !
