Promote your Homemade Business
Simple rules, the etsy/folksy/own site store you promote must be your own work (or someone you know - no commercial/big business and be creative
So post photos and links to the stuff you make and sell

I have just started showing my artwork on etsy.com then search midamart. I am just starting to put my art out for sale but will also feature wildlife, as well. I focus in pen and ink and color pens, watercolor, acrylic, and airbrush art on canvas.

Yes Autumn Dusk in the one I like too. It reminds me a bit of a wood engraving.

Re: Promote your Homemade Business
A long time ago, when I used to make things (and teach people how to make them) for a living, I made these. The earrings went in an exhibition, and I sold a few on commission, but haven't tried since.
They are made from two different Japanese papers, laminated together - each is handwritten, the writing being gilded with real gold. I have a few choice quotations that fit, or a buyer could choose their own words (max 10). Surprisingly robust, although best not worn in the shower or in bed.
I'm thinking about making to sell again, but would welcome the opinions of more experienced sellers.

They're beautiful FB. How much do you charge for them?

Re: Promote your Homemade Business
Well now, I don't really know. I think I sold some for about £16 a pair - though as discussed on other threads, that barely recompenses the time spent. That time is rather less for each set if I can make a batch, but I don't particularly want to make a load and find they don't sell. That's why I am asking for opinions - not so much on the price, but on whether anyone else thinks they might sell. I think the price is going to have to be what customers are willing to pay, rather than what I want to earn.

Oooh how exciting! I have three pairs already made (I believe they all have different words) or I can make a pair with your choice of words. It might be best to carry this on by PM though.
