What I have done in the Studio today - Adrian
I figured that as CH's thread is doing to well and it is so cool to see what he has been getting up to, then it was worth offering each member the chance to have their own thread for studio or workshop to show off work and projects...
Just start one up, or PM me to start one for you.

This is a series of work that I have been preparing for a local art show entitled "love and monsters"

Ahh. I've liked Loreena McKennitt for many years. The Mask and the Mirror is a personal favourite.
I like your artwork too Adrian - wonderful. I wish more people would share what they have been making.

I really hope members do take the opportunity to have their own sharing thread, I think it is wonderful to see other folks work

This is a three layer papercut - each layer will be separated by another layer of thicker card and the whole lot will be mounted in a shadow box

Picked up my Mora carving knives this last weekend - knocked out a little one to get my eye and hand back in the spoon game

I see you're slipping back into it quite nicely Adrian. Nice one. What wood do you have there ?
The thought has been crossing my mind that I do have an (accidentally made) left handed crook knife. If I get really frustrated, I might try it...

Its Elm
We had a branch badly rip in a storm, so I cut off this weekend and decided to cut and split some spoon blanks.
As it seems to have forgotten how to Spring here, I have them all stored outside next to my shave horse. Its been addictive, after close to a year away from spoons, I have made two in less than a week

A couple more spoons
Being sick has limited what I can do, so sitting by the fire carving has been a nice distraction. The spoon on the left is my first non sanded one, I finally decided to concentrate on tool finishing. There are a few mess ups, but I am pretty happy with the result.
