I mentioned in the tea room that we had a nice walk on Brown Clee, near Ludlow a couple of weeks ago.  I thought I'd share the lovely blubells:

Now I thought that they were normally found under trees, in woodland ?

That's beautiful CH, the smell must be heavenly. I tend to think of them as shade loving but looking across the valley from our top fields there is a complete open hillside that is blue, it took me a while to realise that the colour was bluebells.
