Hi Tamara, are you posting twice in quick succession? There's something called a 'flood control' that means you have to wait 120 seconds after posting before you can hit the send button again. I get a message on the desktop but can't remember whether or not I've had it on my tablet.

Well, that must be a first - me having the (possible)answer to a computery question that someone else hasn't come across!

I don't even send texts - it's quicker for me to use 2nd class post but after seeing my 86 year old mother using a smart phone the other weekend I'm thinking that perhaps I should get my head out of the sand & join the 21st century.

I've fallen foul of 'flood control' too, Tamara. I can cope with it when replying to different posts but it's very irritating when you are simply editing a post then can't re-post it for 120 seconds.

I've changed it to 60 seconds. It seems an unlikely scenario that HML will be overwhelmed by the rush of postings !

I think it was just to stop spammers, CH. Can't say I'm sorry you've changed it though. It is really annoying when all you want to do is edit.
