Adverts
It looks like Forumotion, who host the forum, have found themselves needing to make a bit more money by removing the ability to turn off adverts for logged in members. Sorry folks, there doesn't seem to be any way to avoid it - at least it seems to be only the one at the top of the page. And I don't pay them anything for the hosting; I pay only for the domain name "homemadelife.com" and the redirection.
If ads really annoy you, then can I recommend "Adblock Plus" - works very well for me using Firefox, especially useful on sites where the ads are so many the whole page is slow to load.

Re: Adverts
Tbh, I hadn't even noticed that they had appeared. I'm so used to visually filtering them out from other websites, I suppose.

Re: Adverts
I hadn't noticed, either, they are on every other site I visit. As long as they don't start jiggling about, it won't be a problem for me.
