Well it did start to get a bit warmer so I thought I would be starting seeding this week as the moon is ascending but the polar air had different ideas. It looks as if the aubergines etc will have to wait until 23 Feb.

That's one big propagator - makes my tiny little plastic one on my kitchen window sill look quite puny!

Arh but when you have your greenhouse MrsC...one on the wall of the house works well as you are using the thermal mass of the house and you will be suprised how a few meters of green house can transform you life! :bounce:

Sadly no space to squeeze a greenhouse into our garden, but am looking at how I can better use shed and log cabin space in future. Problem is the direction of the sun - but it seems I can't change that!

Have you thought of polycarbonate panels at a sloping angle replacing a wall (south or south east facing) in the shed? Starting at about 75cm off the ground will also provide a shelf for trays.

Oh I'm definitely thinking about that sort of thing! Laughing Only problem is that Mr C seems to be collecting old lawnmowers from his Dad at the moment and they're filling my shed a bit. They're so old and heavy though that I can't move them on my own. Will have to work on him a bit me thinks!

As we bought a house without a garage Mr C can't fulfil his desire to collect old cars, so it seems he's just gone for a smaller engine with the lawnmower thing!
