Messing About With Google Sites.
Like a lot of you (Probably !) I have a Gmail account, and have just started exploring and playing about with Google Sites.
It strikes me as a Blinking Useful resource for sharing Stuff amongst ones chums.
Frinstance, I have a pdf copy of the Amazon Nails Strawbale Builders Guide - sticking it on my Google Site means that anyone who wants to have a browse can read it online.
There's also instructions for building a simple Still, but that's by the by.
Anyway, if you want to have a peek, it's here;

Most of the other stuff is Motorbicycle related and probably not of interest to folks on here.

Re: Messing About With Google Sites.
I only started playing yesterday, when someone asked me for the link to the online version of Radco's The Vintage Motorcyclists Workshop.
The link is B0rked, and my PDF copy is too big to email, so I went hunting for a Plan B
It strikes me there are likely to be a few folk out there with Useful Stuff and no idea how to go about sharing it.
This is East Peasy - if you can download and save a file to your PC, you can upload and save it to your Google Site.
Download speeds are Effing FAST btw !

That looks pretty useful Gus - and not something I've investigated much before. Thanks for sharing!

In Bulgaria it's perfectly legal to own and operate a Still.
In the villages virtually every household has one - they use it to make Rakya (Plum Brandy)
Those are proper stills though - not made out of placky buckets.
I've been investigating Google Docs - and you can now upload just about any document, in any format, convert it to Google Doc and then translate it into just about any language you like.
I'm currently experimenting with a couple of French manuals.
