Re: HML Film Club
I just had a nice suprise, watched I Am Legend a remake of Omega Man. Am always scepitcal about remakes, but I thought this was really good & not specialed too much with modern day effects.

Watched 'Three Colours Blue', a classy French film with a Polish director, starring Juliette Binoche. It was a bit slow to start (or maybe it just took time to adjust to the style and pace of the film) but was one of those films which stays with you afterwards. Very visual and haunting.

Re: HML Film Club
Has anyone else come across 'The Way' starring Martin Sheen? It's a longish film (2 hours) but you don't notice that because it's so beautifully filmed. It's a simple plot really - a man decides to walk the pilgrims route to Compostella in Spain with the ashes of his son who has just died. It's a simple idea but it really works as a film.
