Once you get it................
Here are some good ways to cook it

I have it on the turtle recipes but it starts with Alligator and finishes with woodcock with my favorite being the miscellaneous.
Some odd ones in there

I haven't even heard of some of the miscellaneous ones. Interesting list though!
Re: Once you get it................
Did the fried turtle this week.
So good, so very VERY good! Kind of a mix of crab, not fishy fish and scallops.
Did I mention very good?

Re: Once you get it................
I once had soup made from some hormone extracted from the neck of Sea Turtles - I think they syringed out about 2ml from each turtle and tossed the rest back overboard and it took hundreds of turtles to make a bowl of soup or something similarly grotesque. The bill for the meal was more than my current car cost...
won't be having that one again.
