Well so far we have scones and cake. I will do bread and jam, also if any one wants savoury I can do boiled eggs, egg based sarnies and tomato/ cucumber etc

So...dips? more cake? drink? salads? (mine have all bolted!)

Pat/Jane it is up to you entirely what you bring, it will all be welcome, just bear in mind the no peanut restriction!

Am really looking forward to this, hope we get good weather so we can be outside!

I have fond memories of that primus! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

if you are coming and camping then I think it would be a VERY GOOD THING to bring! After all, Mrs C and family might want a cuppa earlier than I am up and about to make them one on Sunday?

Really hope you can make it HL, but if you can't, you can't. perhaps call me to say, though? Ta.

ooooh yes HL - if you are camping then early morning tea would definitely be appreciated. Strangely Mr C doesn't do tea or coffee, so I see it as my duty to drink tea for two! Laughing

Fingers crossed for the weather - what is the forecast CW?

Ok, bit late notice, but think we're going to be able to make it for the saturday afternoon session, leaving that evening at baby down time (7ish). Be really great to meet you all and especially to introduce LMC to LMBB!

Will be me, my husband and baby. We'll see if we can get a sitter to look after the dog for the day...

Food-wise I'll see if I can rustle something savoury together. Humus perhaps? I'd bring a green salad, but have quite floppy lettuce this year and don't think it'd last long enough in the car unfortunately.

CW - can you pm me where you live and a phone number?

Looking forward to it!

Billy [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Well...it may be wet..so may not be in wood that much but yes plan on cooking some meaty stuff if possible..not spit roast, sadly, as you are not there to kill the tree meat for me!

budburst [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] will be lovely to see you in the afternoon! Am so glad you think you can come!

IF you need to bring your dog, that's OK [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] but I would ask if dogs come that they stay on a lead and get cleared up after..we still have a few ground nesting birds around and the hens think a dog is a fox and sulk and stop laying if one runs nearby [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

also the cats think dogs are just plain disgusting [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Everyone, please don't stress about bringing food!

I will be sending out a pm with map, verbal directions and grid reference, phone numbers etc tomorrow or Thurs at the latest.

Am a bit snowed under here with overflowing produce mountain to process and also a stroppy CG to "manage"....oh well, am half way through summer hols so I guess she is getting a bit bored...

oooh am getting so excited! Am going to decant 25 L cider container into manageable bottles tomorrow... [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Well. *I* think that, and *you * think that. but everyone else is driving away early evening apart form Mrs C and Mr C and LMC.... [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

so I thought we had better divvy it up into 5 L containers...so we could portion it out into glasses...

Also I can't lift a 25 L container to pour into a glass!

one 5 l DJ has your name on, never fear....!

Sounds like you ARE coming, then?

Do you have an up to date weather forecast for your neck of the woods CW?

CW - cider sounds great... or rather dangerous depending on how you look at it! Thanks for the dog info. If we can find a home for him we will, otherwise we'll bring a lead and will tell him he's got to be on best behaviour!

Mrs C - LMBB is 5 months old. Yours is just a little younger than that isn't she?

It's pouring with rain here now and I'm just hoping that it keeps it up and uses up all the rain that would otherwise fall tomorrow. Fingers crossed! But am packing water proofs just in case - looking forward to seeing your place CW!
