Hello from Ginny
Hello,
I have just joined the site after seeing a few mentions popping up on my FB page.
Originally from the UK, emigrated to Canada in 1997 with husband and daughter. First to Calgary and have now been in Nova Scotia for six and a half years.
This year we are looking forward to our third year of operating our bed and breakfast, Barnwood Inn.
In the spring I raise organic veggie transplants for sale at the local farmers' markets and plant an over-ambitious garden myself.
I had always worked full time in IT until we came to NS. Now my husband is the breadwinner - he is a self-employed contractor - and I do a few days part time at a local plant nursery.
Mix in the fact that my daughter is now home-schooled and time is getting on the scarce side.
We live in a great spot and I am very into the country life. Enjoy knowing what's in my food, what's in my water and how to live in a community. Love crafting, growing, cooking and living !
Looking forward to checking out the site,
Ginny
