Hi from Me
Hi everyone
thought i'd do a quick intro. I'm Kristy and i live in QLD Australia. Lucky enough to be about 1/2hr away from the flooding, though they've still got my college closed down that i study at.
I'm a single mum to a 7yr old boy and a 4yr old girl who starts school in a couple of days.
Studying to be a naturopath, so thank goodness for my mum who helps out with the kids when needed etc.
Any other questions just ask

Billy! consistently providing hilarity
Welcome Kristy Lee from a fellow Brisbaneite! how did you hear of the forum? I am a married mum now, but spent 7 years as a single mum to one beautiful girl, was a challenging and amazing journey. Are you studying at the college at Stones Corner? are they still without power? I am at Yeerongpilly, but a few blocks away from the height of the flood so we were safe.
I also have a four year old who is starting school next year (September baby) I would love to home school but hubby works for EQ so....
Hope to see you lots around here, I love all the Aussies coming on board, although our cousins across the sea rock!

That sure is a long long way from Brisbane. It's funny how we just know it's in the same sort of vicinity and start to panic
