Those of you who might want to take part in the demo/strike called for tomorrow and are close enough to choose to go to the one in Portsmouth, according to their website that's the one the Seize the Day folks will be going to.

Alas, too far for us.

Flute, I like your way of thinking! The whole striking thing does my head in, and the childish behaviour of the teaching staff makes me ashamed of my profession. Sad

I must admit I went in to school (I'm not in a teaching union any more) and it was lovely and quiet. It did get a bit boring without the children though after a while....
