Hi there
Hi I'm Bardster. Frequenter of a fair few forums
Interested in all things crafty and the outdoors side of life. I help run a magazine called The Bushcraft Magazine. I run the website and forum over there.... We like to think that we aim towards the country living/crafts side of bushcraft rather than the mainstream survival types so this forum is right up our street Seems a great place and I hope it goes from strength to strength

Re: Hi there
Welcome Bardster
Oddly enough I was just looking at an ad for Bushcraft magazine while flicking through Permaculture magazine in the littlest room of the house...
The forum is essentially geared towards country crafts and voluntary simplicity, so you will fit in beautifully here
Enjoy

Re: Hi there
Hello Bardster, welcome to one of my many hide-outs.
There's a great section here for heritage crafts, would you consider posting a bit about some of your stuff?

Re: Hi there
No doubt I will in time be posting plenty of crafty stuff
Main thing is carving spoons and making bowls at the moment. http://crafts.probetech.co.uk if you want a look at my bowls etc.... I also do leatherworking, metal working and anything else I can think of really. Always said "Never done it before? Well lets have a go, after all what can go wrong?"

Re: Hi there
Well we absolutely encourage showing off skills, crafts and produce etc (look at me I'm a massive show off), so post away...

Re: Hi there
Welcome Bardster - just taken a look at your leather water bottles and they are beautiful. Have to admit that I've never seen anything like them before - stunning.
Hope you enjoy the forum!

Hi Bardster.
Hmm, wouldn't know we don't have one on the Island...
And I don't eat seafood either...
