Hi Badger,

I just attempted to upload a photo, and I got a message that said I had succesfully uploads the photo but that all photos need to be approved by admin or moderator before they can been viewed. Is that the case with all photos? As it might mean a lot of work for whoever is modding the gallery. Honest, it's a nice turbine photo not anything naughty! Very Happy

Just thought I'd mention it.

A x

Editied to add: Of course it might just be me! Technology often gets the beter of me Embarassed

no - its not you

its me - I have set it so I approve all uploads - its to stop the forum being flooded with porn. Yes its a pain and extra work for me, but easier to approve than remove...

OK

I'm not getting any indication that I have images to approve, so am going to set it so that users can upload without approval.

We'll have an honour system - so please no pictures of winkies or boobies.. ❤

I've just had a dry run at uploading to my own gallery and it didn't like my file. Is there an optimum size or other suff that I need to stick to in order to sucessfully get my images in there?

No boobies or dangly bits (honest) just some rather geeky pics of plants & fungi.

The only limit is a maximum size per pic and that is 4mb

Lottie, I have had a look at my personal gallery and whilst I can moderate my pictures, I can't actually post any new ones up, so I suspect something has gone amiss with the Gallery function overall.

I suspect that storage is at capacity

As I have to buy extra storage from the forum host, it is likely to stay at capacity for a while

Very Happy

OK, should perhaps we delete some pics which are a bit old, now? would that make room for more?
