Hello from Fay in France
Hi all
We moved to France as we couldn't afford anything in the uk, would love to be doing it there but...
We arrived 9 months ago and now have pigs (piglets due in about 3 months!), chickens, bees, some lambs and sheep and loads of land with a polytunnel that is brimming with produce!
I've had a organic veg plot since my kids were little, nearly 20 years ago and have had chickens before but the rest is all new to me but I love it.
We are renting a great place while we renovate our cottage - boy do I feel for my other half as the weather here is now hot, hot, hot and he's on the building site!
Anyway looking forward to finding out more....
Cheers

Hi Fay, your place sounds fab. We have just got our first (small) plot of land to house our ever expanding bee colonies, some Oxford Sandys and in the Autumn, som sheep. I may be prevailing on you for animal husbandry advice.
Very glad to have you aboard.

Hello from Department 49!!
A little late as I have been planting out the 300msq veg plot etc. We are vegetarians so it is where our food comes from! We have chickens too.
Weather has turned to Atlantic chilly now though...you are probably like us glad it rained at last but now hoping it will stop soon!
Again I bought here to get land, now spend all my time looking after it when I am not healing or harvesting etc etc
