OK, should perhaps we delete some pics which are a bit old, now? would that make room for more?

As I have to buy extra storage from the forum host, it is likely to stay at capacity for a while

Very Happy

Nevermind, I shall stay incognito... Cool Laughing Wink

OK

Just done some checking

We get 20mb free storage, which we have used up. I can buy more storage space but that costs cash. Each extra 500mb of storage costs $5.95 (us).

I think that if the membership wishes to have the gallery space it is not unreasonable to ask that the storage cost is defrayed, ie cough up the readies and you can have the gallery space Very Happy

The gallery storage memory limitations do not affect your ability to post pictures in forum threads.

Up to you guys...

Well

Thanks to Lotties generosity, we now have 620 Mb free gallery storage space - can I suggest folk resize photos before uploading so the space is used frugally and respectfully

Thank you Lottie.\ [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Well done Lottie.
But the alternative is for each of us to host our own pictures - then we still can control them and we have our own gallery. I use flickr and so far have not reached anything like the free limit.

mmm on a computer owned by GoDaddy and no access or agreement! Not getting at the forum just seems that people in general are getting rather casual about the social networking and posting stuff.

I claim no ownership of photos posted on this forum.

If you don't want to use the gallery, then don't.
