The Far East and ethical projects
I read something interesting in a trade magazine the other day, about ethical funds and general ethical investment in the Far east.
The asia Pacific region has three of the World's ten biggest CO2 polluters.
However aiming for growth in the economy the middle kingdom has invested £367bn in a fiscal stimulus package, of which 40% has been pledged to ethical projects.
South Korea has ring fenced 80% of its stimulus for green and sustainable development, compared with a world average of 15% according to the UN.
That was a surprise to me, not quite the way they are typically reported in the main press.

Windy, just goes to show you really shouldn't beleive what you read inthe press!
The Chinese is one of the worlds biggest CO2 polluters but also one of the biggest players in the turbine industry.
