I might have finally succeeded. I've got some tutankhamun peas dried for next year. The good weather meant that I was able to leave pods on the plants until they were rattly then I spread the peas out on a bit of mesh in the greenhouse to finish drying. Because of the slow season my Mr Fearns beans haven't got to the fat pod stage yet so I'll probably struggle to get any dried but I'll give it a go.

I had some Tutankhamun peas from the seed swap this year. I have managed to save plenty of seed, despite a fair few being maggoty. Some of the peas have split their skins though (not the pod itself, but the skin on the individual pea). Does anyone know if these will keep and remain viable? I have plenty without them, but just want to know if they are worth keeping.
