Cucumbers

I have 2 cucumber plants (aka Triffids) growing away in the greenhouse with lots of baby cucs but there are some male flowers on there as well and I'm sure I read somewhere that these need to be removed. The last time I grew cucs it was a female only variety. I have no idea what variety I'm growing at the moment as they were seeds from the seed swap.
Any tips please, and how do I stop them taking over the greenhouse??

Flowers should be left on outdoor varieties, but according to various books I have, yes pinch off the male flowers on indoor varieties as it stops the fruit becoming bitter ( apparently)

I say "apparently", because I have only grown male/female flowered ones a few times, I never got around to pinching off the male flowers and it didn't seem to make any difference...but thats the advice in various of my gardening books....

I now grow all female ones in the PT and so don't have this issue.
