a perfect opportunity NOT to go anywhere. Strikes me as quite a fuss. There's been enough notice to plan not to go anywhere

I'm not driving anywhere in North London on a Saturday afternoon - we've road works everywhere and today's outing (necessary) was a nightmare.

We had carmageddon here once, there were about 5 cars in front of me and 5 behind for a whole 20 kilometers...

It was horrific, I honestly thought that there would a pile up at any minute

I mean you hear the stories of traffic chaos like this and people start pulling guns
