Why I hate bullies
I felt that I needed to share this.
Bullying in North America (the US especially) on the rise as is the suicide of bullied kids. Child on child violence is rising, intolerance of difference is rising and in many cases schools are afraid to tackle it. This video is a window into the world of a very scared 13yr old boy.
I'm not interested in starting a campaign or a movement, I just wanted to share this boys pain and hope that we as adults can do a little to help. No child should be afraid everyday, no child should be in so much pain.

Agree with you Adrian, being scared is no fun at all.

Re: Why I hate bullies
I hope that lad can find the courage and strength to keep going - he's going to need it.
While he has obviously suffered from overt bullying, I think many people who would never believe they were doing any such thing, can bully in a more passive way, just by exclcuding others who are different.
My eldest son had a best friend at school for many years. Suddenly they weren't friends anymore, though at the time I didn't know why. I found out (accidentally) some years later that the friend had shown homosexual tendencies, so I assume that is why it happened. It made me very sad - I sincerely hope there was no bullying involved, though have no reason to think there was. I think the (ex) friend was simply excluded. That must have been so confusing and hurtful for him.
Thanks for posting that, Adrian. Food for thought.
