Milk Bottle Bird Feeder

default Milk Bottle Bird Feeder

Post by Ploshkin on 8th February 2015, 10:52 am

I've just put out another milk bottle bird feeder & I've remembered to take a picture. I do 2 or 3 every year, each one lasts about 2 months depending on how many woodpeckers find it. I save up fat from cooking & keep it in the freezer & by the winter I have plenty for fat balls (yoghurt pot shaped ones) & feeders.

I love that idea - do you get squirrel problems ? We seem to be locked in a battle of wits with them, trying to feed the birds but not squirrels !
