Dreams.... Empty Dreams....

Post by vwalker99999 10th January 2010, 5:15 pm

I am still half asleep so if this doesn't belong, I trust the powers that be will put it in it's proper place.

Feel rather like I'm in a Simon and Garfunkel song, buuut....

I just woke from the strangest dream. It's all in fragments, of course, but there are three scenes I remember clearly.

1. Gleefully showing the person next to me a blown glass flower on a long stem. I placed a crystal in the flower which was meant to symbolize flame and light and held it aloft as if I was carrying a torch (the non-electric wooden kind) I find this especially interesting, because in my waking life I have never had any interest in crystals aside from their beauty.

2. I began chanting the following, and as I did, other voices joined in repeating it over and over:

Know who you are and change the world.
Know who you are and manifest heaven.
Know who you are and save the world.
Know who you are and manifest heaven.

Over and over and over, so that when I woke it was ringing in my ears

3. ...but just before I woke, whilst still hearing the... well, it felt like a mantra... I was standing in a small room, an elevator or a closet, with double sliding doors... it was in what felt like home in the dream, but I don't know it... I was naked (of course Dreams.... Icon_rolleyes ) and I kept opening and closing the doors, toying with the light, laughing, because I realized that I was no longer afraid of the dark, or small spaces, or being naked.

And then I woke with the mantra exploding in my head.

I don't remember dreams often and usually feel as if my sleep has been dreamless. When I do have them, I find them enlightening. I rarely share them, because I believe that dreams are meant for the dreamer. This one... wanted sharing. Make of it what you will...

Dreams.... Empty Re: Dreams....

Post by Guest 12th January 2010, 11:58 am

Good dream.
I would interpret the dark room as a room where light is not...no enlightenment / "heavenly light" however you would call it. The fact that there was a way out is interesting...and that you could if you wanted to pass out into the light...

Dreams must be interpreted by the "owner" as its your set of images (like your own personal set of clip art!) that have been used in your head and you know the association / what the meaning is for you. Smile
