Need a login to insert an image
As the title says. I am being asked for a password to host an image prior to insertion - I have had this before and it usually just goes away after a bit. Is this something to do with the recent change to the forum admin or is it just my computer being awkward (as it is prone to do)?

Re: Need a login to insert an image
I haven't changed anything yet ! But I've had a look on the support forum, and learned some things I didn't know. (Every time I think I understand, I find something else I didn't know).
When you create an account on the forum, it creates for you an account on [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] which is an image hosting service for your uploaded pictures - I had previously thought there was only one account for the forum, but seems we have one each.
If you haven't changed it, the username and password will be - I think - whatever email address and password you used when you made your forum account. If you can't remember the password, there is probably an "I've forgot my password" button - there is if you go direct to [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] and try to log in. If you've forgotten the e-mail address you used - I can probably help.
I think, like on other sites - the "keep me logged in" gets reset sometimes so this login pop-up appears.
Does any of that make sense ?

Thanks CH, I'll give it a go with my forum password and see if that does it. I know when I've had it before it has gone away after a while.

Re: Need a login to insert an image
I had to use the 'forgotten my password' option but it worked. Thanks
