Hello all may I please ask for you to send positive healing thought to my older brother who this week was told that he has Cancer of the Lung and he will be starting his treatment this week,

Things haven't gone good for our family over the last year if something could go wrong it has,
Now this. I just wish that he gets better and may be I'll be able to get to see him as he lives up in Scarbrough
and we live down here in Ipswich Suffolk.

I thank you now and always for your kind help now and in the past.
Take care

Just an up date on my Dear older Brother.
Well my Younger Dear Brother and DSIL went up to see Older Bro Norm a week and a half ago and they had a shock of there lives when they went to the door rang the bell.

Dear Bro Norm came to the door and he has lost all of his lovely long ginger hair and his full ginger beard. He looked so weak and frail,
Younger DB didn'y know what to say or do so SIL just pushed him in the house.

Norm should have had more treatment last week but his bloods where not good enough or something like that.
I so wish that I could have told you that all is well but I can't at this time, I so wish that I could do something for him to make him better but I can't.
I would if I could give some of my life up for him so that he would have more time.

Thanks all
Nick B

Nick - sorry to hear this. I should imagine your brother's hair loss did come as quite a shock, and his frailness too. I should imagine that because of the chemo he is going to be worse before he gets better, but as long as it works . . . that's the main thing.

Thank you all very much for your kind words and I wish I could give you much better news but I can't at this time.
My dear brother Norman was taken into hospital on Sunday as he had got a chest infection ans they had to get his fluid levels up and he was still in there yesterday.

I had a talk with mum yesterday and she was saying that she does not know what she would do if the worst was to happen, IYKWIM. as it would be the end of her she told me. As she has already lost 3 dear daughters I don't think her losing a 4th would do her any good.
Or come to it any of the rest of the family.

I wish I could go and see him but I've been told that I can't as I've got an bad infection in my throat which I've now had for about 3 weeks. but that nothing.

Anyway thank you once again for your very kind words of support it has been a great help to us . Thank you.

Take care all.
Nick,

You must all be very worried Nick. He is in the best place, but that sounds rather trite, I know. I hope that they can get him responding to treatment soon. You and your family are in my thoughts - your mum must be struggling especially, as she has lost three of her children already. That never seems right in the scheme of things . . . If I could wave a magic wand for you all, I would. Positive, healing, thoughts on their way. Jennie xx

Well I've just got off the phone to my Dear Brother Norm and he didn't sound at all well, as if after all he has had done to him.
Thirsday last week they put a stent into his gullet so that food could more easier go down ( as well as up)
I told him that I loved him and that i was thinking of him every day, He told me to keep an eye on Mum to make sure she does not get up to to much, ( what at 87)

I did'nt talk for to long as he sounded so very tired, But I can talk again later this week.
Thanks all you all have been a very great help to me and mine.
you are all so lovely.
Nick, xx

Hi all I had a quick chat with my dear Brother yesterday and he is so very ill,
He can no longer eat, but he can get fluids in so at this time he is bake on the soups.
Which he is so very tied off, but he knows that if this is what he has to do then he has to do it.
apart from that He told me to look after ourselves.
I'm realy hoping that the day will come soon that I can say that he is well and then thank you all.
Take care all.
