Re: Car Boot
Very jealous Pol. I used to love car boots and up in Yorkshire went to loads of them, but have just not got into the swing of them down here. Something I should rectify now Spring is here. I'm off to find out online as to when the next local one is so LMC and I can go...

We went to the one on the showground this morning. Lots more stalls now that spring has arrived, but we were very good and only bought two books (50p each), a lampshade (£4) and a pair of gardening gloves each (£1 each).
Next week we are hoping it will be fine so we can take a pile of stuff to the Fleamarket down there. All stuff we don't NEED and can't come with us.

Well - I found out that the big local one re-starts on Easter Sunday at the showground, so it's on the calendar for us to go then!

Funny old thing went to a car boot yesteray& bumped into 2 Homemade Lifers,
I got there first though...
So I managed to get a fabulous book called:
The Readers Digest Extradinary Uses For Ordinary Things... Really big book, prefect condition, sells for up to £18, for the ridiculous price of £1
A really heavy duty metal "Stanley" staple gun (I have a large bruise on my shin from where I dropped it, so can confirm its really heavy!!!) £1
I was happy too...

Re: Car Boot
Yss asked me late Saturday night if he could go to a car boot, so at 9 oclock yesterday we went around to Pol & Worzel to see if they were going.
Although YSS didn't take any money with him, , sly toad thinks I'm daft...
Got arather very large rucksack for £2 I use one for carrying shopping as we don't have a car, & my old one has just given up the ghost after 20 plus years of loyal service...
A new car jack for an idea that I have for splitting pallets for £1...
A double CD album Deacon Blue £1.50...
A Black & decker jigsaw for £2...
An electric consumption meter £1...
& Pols mothers day pressy, she wanted the same book as I got a couple of weeks ago & I didn't have time to get one before the event so it was promissed & we found one for a magnificent £1...
All were happy...

Re: Car Boot
Bought another Cussler book & 4 small plastic boxes which originated from Ikea, which are the right size for putting in pureed tomato ready for pizza etc, they were 20p each so well pleased.

Made the car boot today, but was very hot there, still managed to buy
Some bits for card making, probably about 20 cards will come from that at the cost of 40p
A small brass coal scuttle for one of my dolls houses which cost £1 which I was happy to pay. Looks good too!!
