I know it doesnt sound like much.................
But I can now stand under my first arbor and be UNDER a grape vine they have gone up and over in two places and one of them is the seedling grape I grew! Its only 2 years old but it already has flowers on no idea what color it will be even, it came out of a pick your own grape from a vineyard full of black and bronze muscadines and scuppernongs and lots of bees.
I hope it nice, all of its potential parents were
And one of the pomegranates planted at the same time is in full flower! Its not setting fruit yet but dang! its only knee high and in gorgeous blossom
So the living fence of pomegranates is doing well, the grape are getting on like a house on fire and the blue berries are settling in.
The permaculture plan is starting to come together nicely, filling in every corner and nook so me hubby doesnt notice the steady encroachment of food over grass
