It just wants to drink???

OK, have finally - after 30 odd years - gotten the long wanted pigs.

Three fine piggies

Two of them are bigger than the third and its getting more noticeable by the day.

And after watching them closely over the last three days, I think I know why.

The smallest one only wants to drink the cooking liquid rather than the solids at feeding time.

They get leftovers, scraps, peelings, fruit and veg from the garden and pretty much anything pig-eatable in the kitchen all cooked up as a stew once a day with three handfuls of pig pellet food thrown in at the last moment.

The bigger two chow down on the chunks and bits but the smallest one only sucks at teh food. Even today when I made it so dry I burnt the pan he only sucked at it, not chomped like the others.

I know if he doesn't start eating like the others they will just keep getting bigger and stronger and pushing him out at feeding time.

Is there something I can do to get him to eat like the others? On the weekends when they only get pellet food (another pig keeper feeds them for me on the weekend and pellets are just easier) he eats them so why isn't he eating the good food better. It isn't like he doesn't like it, he is in like a champ when the food splashes down but then its just suck suck suck, not chomp chomp chomp

Any ideas?

Nope! Turns out it was weened too young and didnt like to chew. All sorted now and eating just fine
