How much to charge?
As the new Head Bunny Basher at 4 H, I am now in charge of the meat rabbit project. We are allowed to sell them live ONLY but once they are owned I can do a private deal with the new owner to turn it into meat. As a personal service kind of thing.
Rules eh? Blardy stupid
But my question is, how much should/might/does one charge for turning a large rabbit into meat?

Not even "pets"?
It seems round here a fiver is mostly what is charged per bunny. Thats not bad for an easy job like that one

especially as pets. It's about a $1000 fine if you hv a rabbit as a pet here. They are regardedas pests. In the state i grew up with though they were everywhere

I've watched 'Rabbit Proof Fence' (good film) showing the vast expanse of fence which was constructed to keep rabbits out in Oz

I thought of "Rabbit proof fence" when I read Kristy Lee's post.
Rabbits were introduced to Oz by Captain Cook or similar weren't they and are the equivalent of Japanese knotweed to our back gardens
