New spoon
So on Sunday gone I was told to sit down and do something for me, so I tuned in live to Genevieve Tudors Sunday Folk, sat on the kitchen hearth and carved a new spoon from a fallen branch.
I'm pretty chuffed with the results, especially as it feels like I haven't carved anything in close to a year.
Here is is, oiled and ready to post to my sister as a belated birthday gift.

Re: New spoon
Like the grain on it, makes it very attractive. Well done.

Yep, you've picked a lovely piece of wood and done it justice . Sure it will be well received.

Thank you CH, I think its Elm.
I went to post it today and I was given a price of $28 !! So will be repackaging it in a less bulky package.. Canada Post sucks.
