Hello from Illinois
Hello everyone,
My name is Stephanie and I am a wife and sahm. I have two girls one 5yrs and the other 3yrs. I am new to making my own things. I have been wanting to try and be more reliant on my own abilities. I love knowing I can take care of lots of things, just by hard work. I recently (just this morning) wrote recipes down for homemade laundry soap, fabric softener, and dish soap. I can't wait to try them out and will let you all know how they work. Please be patient with me, I am not great with the computer but get by. I hope you will all share any amazing recipes or how tos that you have. I am very excited to get started and start getting to know you all.

Hi BGM - glad you've introduced yourself.
Youy must be better with the computer than you say - you worked out how to use emoticons (it took me ages!!)

lol I try, sometimes to no avail. I love your profile pic. We have 7 chickens. (my husbands idea for an adventure and life lesson for our girls last spring) We absolutely love them. We have an araucana, buff orpington, 2 black australorps, and 3 barred rocks. I would love to know about your chickens. Nice to meet you.

Re: Hello from Illinois
I have a ranger (Martha) a blacktail (Apple) and a Rhode Rock (Blackberry - famous for her vertical take-offs!!). As OH and I work full time and have a medium town garden three chooks is about right for us. We free range them when someone's at home, but don't want to risk foxes/our neighbour's decrepit fence when no-one's in.Beran_girls_mommy wrote:lol I try, sometimes to no avail.
