Mothers Day
It is some 40+ years since I lost my Mother & hardly a day goes by that I do not think of her or talk to her.
I would so like to be able to make her a card & tell her all those those things I think of now, about Spar & flute & YS & the rest of the family. Making cards is so relaxing that I often think how she would be so suprised & like what I do.
So Mum wherever you are I love you still & miss you so much.

Re: Mothers Day
O God, who hast commanded us to honor our father and our mother; in Thy mercy bless the soul of my mother, and forgive us our trespasses; and make me to see them again in the joy of everlasting brightness. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
I miss my Grandmother everyday, I would give all for 1 more minuite to speak with her

Re: Mothers Day
Me too - I was in my twenties when my grandmother died, and I was beginning to get to know her as a friend. She had an interesting life (she was a servant in a large house in South East London as a young woman, in the years before the First World War) - I would have loved to talk to her more about her memories and thoughts.

Oh Dandelion, I've just noticed you have a new quote thingy under your posts. I have a favourite quote that is similar: There isn't enough darkness in the world to quench the light of one small candle.
