Swimming pigeon
Has anybody else ever seen a pigeon swimming?
We have a pigeon (not sure if it is always the same one) that quite often jumps into our pond and flap-swims across to bathe itself. There is nothing solid in the pond on which it can perch, although there is a lot of pond weed which may help to buoy it up.

Oh, I hadn't realised that you had attached a picture.
How very strange, I would have thought its feathers would get waterlogged. I've never seen anything like that. Maybe it did it accidentally the first time & found it wasn't so bad.
