My new hobby
As of this morning I have a new hobby.
We've had a bat person here this morning doing an exclusion to comply with the terms of our bat licence - it means we can delay the start of our building (roof coming off) which was going to be this weekend.
We were talking about other things (the required 2 m apart of course) and I mentioned that we had barn owls. She rooted around in the corner of the shed and picked up several owl pellets. I had looked for pellets but thought they were acorn size not egg size so I had overlooked them on the earth floor. I've had a fascinating time looking through them and finding bones and teeth.

Ooh, sounds exciting, Ploshkin - if a little unusual!
