Little Green Gathering
Dear reader,
Please find linked to this page details of and a booking form for the little Green Gathering which is to be held on the Hampshire Downs next July. The Green Party's South East Region is lending its support to this event and we want to get as many members (and their partners, families and friends) from the region attending as possible. You can book in others who are non-members in your party as well.
This is expected to be a very well supported venture and there are limited camping and hostel places, so please don't delay. Send your booking form and deposit in now.
The South East Region regular meeting will be held at the Gathering on Saturday 16th July. You can if you wish just come for that and not the Gathering (with its food, events etc. etc.) but we hope that if you are coming, even just for the day, you will stay around and enjoy the many other things we have on that day.
Lots more details and regular bulletins can be found on our FaceBook site at https://www.facebook.com/LittleGreenGathering.
See you there next July!

Re: The Little Green Gathering
Must be my eyes, I cannot see an indication of the prices for the event.
I understand people have to pay 20% in advance deposit and the rest in June. But 20% of what amount?

How big is this event likely to be, and what should one expect from it?
I am sure I do not need to re-iterate my views on yoghurt weaving. :?

Re: The Little Green Gathering
thanks for bothering, badger... btw!
I find that more and more it takes something really special for me to try and attend an event that happens in the middle of nowhere - too much trouble getting there in the first place and then there's the travel back home.

Re: The Little Green Gathering
Well I'm going down by train, all the way from York.
I'm helping by doing the kids entertainment I do: 'Professor Fiddlesticks' circus skills worksops and balloon modelling, and doing a talk on my favourite subject, 'Advanced Composting'!
I wonder who here on THL is going to be there?

Re: The Little Green Gathering
Hmm I offered my services, right at the start - when it first went up on Fb.
but never heard anything back. Which slightly put me off...
as Green Stewards seem keen to have me at their festivals, being CRB'd, First Aider-ed etc etc , never mind the play/woodcraft/education stuff I can do.

Ah, 'CompostWoman', that does make sense... more than some of mine. But you're not coming to the LGG are you?

I think Spar menat, if I am not going to the LGG ( which I am not) that he thinks I would get some "me" time, rather than being "Compostwoman at the LGG.
BUT if I went to the LGG, I would probably actually get more "me2 time...
Hmmm. Will have to think about that one a bit more....

Any of those options sound pretty damn good to me...socialising, sauna, sex and sleep sound especially good ( not in any particular order....)
