Greenhouse Cleaning... Empty Greenhouse Cleaning...

Greenhouse Cleaning... 10Cool, I'll start this thread off then...

This is the time of year for cleaning out greenhouses & disinfecting them, last year I used a sulphur bombGreenhouse Cleaning... 2028
& even after ventilating for a couple of months I could still catch a whiff of it...
(no Pol it wasn't the pickled eggs Greenhouse Cleaning... 3...)

I wondered about using my wallpaper steamer this year but my thoughts are:

1. Would it kill off the nasties?
2. How careful would I have to be with the steam onto cold glass?

I would be very careful using a steam cleaner on cold glass as even warm water can crack cold glass if you are unlucky....

I use warm soapy water and add a bit of lavender essential oil, or a citrus EO is also very good... but then I am scrubbing a polytunnel cover rather than glass...

I brush the worst of the dirt of, first, with a stuff brush, which is what I also do to pots after emptying.
