Sock creations
Here's my first trio of sock creations....the Zombie was my first, followed by the yellow and green one (which is in local football team colours) and the black one I haven't quite finished. I'm now trying to make a pumpkin out of orange pajama bottoms...it's taken me the best part of 3/4 of a day just to hand sew the main shape....I don't have a sewing machine
Re: Sock creations

Re: Sock creations
What fun.
Miss JG made some "sock monkeys" a few years ago for her little cousins.
She made one as a template first and he hangs around the house. At one time he lived downstairs and the lady who does our cleaning once a week would leave it in different positions on different bits of furniture.....wrapped round the music stand on the piano or on the bottom of a lamp stand!

Love the zombie!
The doors in our draughty house bang quite a lot so DD2 made sock slugs with eyes and hair for everyone's rooms.

Re: Sock creations
Love those! Several odd socks seem to be lingering at the bottom of the washing basket so I may see who they can be turned into...

Puppets for LMC are also a good idea for old socks.
