Hi, just dropping by to say hello. I'm gardening in Caithness, in the very far north of Scotland. Currently looking for some easy rhubarb wine recipes - rhubarb grows like weeds up here

Re: Newbie
Hi Javelin and welcome. No wine recipes I'm afraid, but I do love rhubarb. I'm planning to bottle some soon - my first attempt at bottling!

Re: Newbie
Will certainly do a thread about it - it'll probably be half term now. By the way, i found a brilliant website called Instructables http://www.instructables.com/
which is where I found the instructions for bottling. It's a bit like YouTube only with a series of pictures rather than a video. I've got all the kit, I've got the rhubarb (which has been loving all the recent rain) - all I need now is a bit of time and the oomph to be brave and get going and not worry if it all goes wrong the first time!

Re: Newbie
Welcome welcome. I have various rhubarb wine reipes I shall dig out, but I must say it has always been one of the least palatable of our home made wines.
